What Is It?
Promoting Unity and diversity in the local church throughout the city, across the lines of race, class and culture; advancing the common good and building a credible witness of God’s love for all people in an increasingly diverse and cynical society.
Church leaders and influencers are invited to the 3rd Annual Embrace Multiethnic Church Conference (Embrace Conference) on June 8th, at Pinelake Church. A little change from previous years, the Night of Unity will be held on Friday, June 7th.
Goals of the conference are to have open discussions and workshops around the topic of transitioning homogeneous ethnic churches into healthy, multiethnic churches for those congregations that are taking the necessary steps to do so. The Embrace Conference will increase awareness and give strategic insight for congregations who have not taken steps to become multiethnic, but may be interested in the process.
